Dear Diary is a magazine that explores how collaborative art and conversation can strengthen interpersonal relationships and build community. I met with eight individuals to create a series of works, each using a different medium and centering around the prompt of “inspiration” as a common thread.
Alongside these collaborations, I reflect on the motivations behind my own creative practice. The magazine mimics a personal journal, documenting each piece, the stories and conversations behind them, and insights gathered along the way. Dear Diary invites both participants and readers to see creative expression not just as art-making, but as a meaningful way to connect with others.
